Digital Radiology (X-Rays)
A Better Look at What's Going On Inside
Sometimes, a physical examination doesn't tell the whole story. Digital radiography allows our veterinarians to look beneath the surface, helping us diagnose injuries, investigate illness, and make informed decisions about your pet's care.
At Animal Medical Center, digital X-rays are an important part of the diagnostic care we provide to pets throughout Northwest Arkansas.
What Can X-Rays Tell Us?
Digital radiographs provide detailed images of bones and internal structures, helping our veterinarians evaluate a wide range of conditions, including:
- Broken bones and joint abnormalities
- Heart and lung conditions
- Gastrointestinal foreign bodies
- Changes in organ size or positioning
- Certain tumors and masses
- Bladder stones and other urinary tract concerns

Why Digital Radiology?
Digital X-ray technology allows us to capture and review images quickly, helping our veterinarians evaluate your pet's condition and determine the next steps in their care.
Images can also be shared electronically with specialists when additional consultation is needed.
Radiographs are noninvasive, and our team takes appropriate precautions to minimize radiation exposure while obtaining the images needed for diagnosis.

The Right Answers Start with the Right Diagnostics
Whether your pet is experiencing unexplained symptoms, has suffered an injury, or needs further evaluation, diagnostic imaging can help us better understand what's happening and recommend appropriate treatment.
